I had the opportunity to visit and work alongside those at Kulea Villages Tanzania in 2024. I’ve had a heart for the children of Africa ever since high school, when I wanted to join the Peace Corps, and that feeling intensified. It was not only the need of the families but the care and dedication of the staff that convinced me I wanted to be more involved.
I am now retired after 30 years in office management and administration, the last 10 years of which I was the Assistant Registrar at a Christian university. I feel my organizational skills are an asset to the Board.
I have two grown sons and four grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with. I also enjoy serving in my church, ladies' Bible studies, and walking in God’s nature. I currently reside in Kyle, Texas.
