Country Leaders
We have one Country Director in each country we serve. Our Directors work closely with local social workers, community leaders, area clinics, and hospitals to ensure we provide services to the neediest families in our communities. Our criteria looks at need as well as the caregiver's commitment to improving themselves and their children through education, new skills, and working.
Our Country Directors review each referred family before engaging our team of social workers to guide them on a one to four year journey with Kulea Villages. The Directors also works closely with community leaders to support business startups, fostering a joint support system for the family. We believe a child needs a family to thrive, and a family benefits significantly from a community.
