Volunteers
Volunteers play an important role in the Kulea Villages Community. We are grateful for the people who give their time, skills, and encouragement to children and families in Tanzania and Kenya.

Ambassador
Help us share a story of hope—one that is helping families move from poverty to self-sufficiency.
Whether you speak to a small group over coffee, share on social media, or simply tell a friend about Kulea Villages, we'll provide the materials and support you need. You can make a lasting difference.
Let's start the conversation.
Board Member
Kulea Villages is governed by volunteer Boards of Directors in the United States, Tanzania, and Kenya. Together, they provide strategic direction, financial oversight, accountability, and governance while supporting the organization's mission and long-term sustainability.
Working alongside local staff and community leaders, our boards help ensure Kulea Villages remains transparent and our programs effectively serve children and families.

Mission Trip
Experience the real Kenya or Tanzania while serving alongside Kulea Villages. Meet the children and families whose lives are being transformed, visit homes and local communities, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture and our work.
Each mission trip includes hands-on service opportunities based on the needs identified by our Country Directors and the skills of the team. We'd love to tell you about our next trip.
Volunteer Time
Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours for a special project, there's a place for you at Kulea Villages.
In Tanzania and Kenya, volunteers help organize clothing and supplies, sort digital photos, take or translate videos, and paint.
In the United States, volunteers can make a difference by assisting with fundraising, marketing, writing donor thank-you notes, preparing annual sponsor prayer card mailings, and supporting special projects throughout the year.
